Does the Beo6 necessarily have to be programmed?

Hi,

If i buy a second hand Beo6 for my Beosound 5, already programmed for the seller's Beosound 5, should i necessarily use the configuration tool (i haven't got it and i've only 64bits windows 10)?

Or can i use it instantly after having configured the wifi?

Assuming your Beo 6 is updated to its last firmware and is fully working, if it is already programmed for the Beosound 5 it should work after your set-up the wifi part.

But if you want a tailor made programming with pages corresponding to your use and habits, then yes you will need the software.
