Hi,
Probably a no-brainer for most of you, but new to me!
Since a few days I'm the proud owner of a BEOSOUND 3000 in mint condition.
I want to connect the 3000 to my - not a B&O - amplifier with RCA plugs. How do I do that?
Tips for a good high quality brand connector?
Thanks for helping a new bee! :-)
Regards, Sieds

Bonjour,
je me pose les mêmes questions, as tu trouvé une solution ?
Merci
Greg
If you want to control the volume with the Beosound then this cable is the solution: https://soundsheavenly.com/bang-olufsen/110-329-5-pin-din-to-twin-rca-powerlink-compatible-to-non-bo-hifi-amplifier-receiver-etc-din-to-twin-phono.html#/2-length-1m
Well.... Until Steve re-opens his website (Sorry Steve... But you should consider a different way of managing periods with overwhelming incoming orders...) I can give a more 'generic' answer.
Your BS3000 has AUX and PowerLink DIN connectors. The PowerLink socket(s) will give you volume regulated pre-out (stereo) and as mentioned above this is a good solution if you set 'master' volume on your amplifier and want to regulate volume via the Bang & Olufsen remote. I would prefer this solution.
You can also use the AUX socket. It will give you fixed line-level output. Volume control via your amplifier.
All you need is one DIN => RCA cable, but the internal wiring will be different for the two use-cases. Should you go for the AUX version then consider getting a RCA to 4x DIN giving you both in- and output. Input for e.g bluetooth receiver and output to the amp.

R.
