Beosound 5 with Gateway

Hi

I am considering adding a ML Gateway to control my BS5 using iPhone. I can get one really cheap.

But. What app is used for that today - I am confused about the B&O apps there are.

And is it the same app used if you have the Beolink Gateway?

You can use Beolink app, Beolink2 app or Beoliving app with ML-/BLGW.

I`m using Beolink2 app, because Beoliving app doesn`t work properly with BS5 (bugs with browsing content...)

Beolink2 app works nicely with all ML devices, homeautomation and NL devices using ML/NL converter. I have upgraded from MLGW to BLGW - simpler und more fun to program... Beolink - and Beolink2 app still work properly with newest IOS.

Well, I got my MLGW in place, and I can activate my different sources in all rooms using Beolink 2.

But....how do I browse over my Beosound 5 content? I only have BS5 as Master, and I have selected CD as source for my albums in all rooms, but I dont seem to be able to browse my content on the Beolink2 app. I can only select next and previous and adjust volume.

What did I miss out here?

Set ui type to N.MUSIC.

Interface - CD (your source) - UI Type - N.MUSIC.

Maybe you are willing to try the Beoliving app, too (?)

As I wrote before, I have problems with the Beoliving app browsing Albums, Artists, Tracks on BS5 .. app is just searching.

I told Khimo about that issue on several occasions, but they apparently won`t solve that bug.

If you have the same problem, I know, I´m not alone  ....
