Hi, I am very new to B&O.  Just bought a Beovision 7-40 with a Beolab 7.2 speaker.   Firstly I had trouble connecting my TiVo Virgin Digital TV box via the DVI / HDMI converter socket as it seems the resolution on the tv is only compatible to 720 rather than 1080 and that is kind of fixed now by changing the Video Display settings on my Virgin TiVo box but it still doesn’t like it each time I switch the TV off and then back on later.  It sometimes starts by flickering on and off on the TV display and also sometimes the display colours all gets messed up to a purplish colour.  Only fix I have at present is to switch tv off and then in again.  Any advise would be appreciated...

Main issue I have is that I can’t get the Beolab 7.2 loud centre speaker connected / activated and working yet.  I see a green light at the bs m of the speaker so it is working but no sound is getting to it from the tv.  I have also set the Sound settings of the Centre speaker on the TV to Beolab 7.2 but still no success...  Any thoughts / advise would be appreciated.  The speaker definitely seems to be working ok as when I push the power cable into either of the 2 power connections on the back of the tv it does make a loud noise but stops quickly as it sounds like interference noise whilst the connector goes in...  BR, Homy

Thank you for your suggestion.  It’s all sorted now.  I managed to get the sound sorted by setting up AV4 as DVI to receive the Virgin TiVo picture signal abs used a headphone jack to Audio Left & Right cable from the TiVo box to the TV and that has now fixed the sound for my Virgin box too...

Hope it makes sense... 😊.  BR
