Hi everybody,
Yesterday, I noticed that one of my BL 8000s was missing.
The LED is off and no sound comes out of it.
The speakers are old, I bought them in 1996.
I swapped the 2 speakers and it does not come from the connexions.
I remember that my dealer told me that the power-supply module was out of stock at B&O.
So 2 questions:
- What further test can I do by myself to diagnose my speaker?
- Is it possible to repair the power supply module at the component level?
Thanks for you help,
Yann.

You’re talking about Beolab 8000 as in the title, right?
Most likely the disintegrating damping foam has corroded one or more of the PCB traces on the PSU board. You do not need a new module just because of that. There are plenty of threads on the forum about this particular problem (I’d find one for you If I were on a real computer).

Thank you Mika.
You are right, I fixed the typo.
Have a great Week-end,
