Hello All!
Just two quick question:
- Is it possible to charge the battery in the Beolit 12 via the USB?
I am very happy with my Beolit 12 since it has Airplay which we use around the house and backyard, but if bringing it along with a camper van it would be great to be able to charge it via USB, and also stream sound via Bluetooth, which is the next question.
- What Bluetooth dongle would you recommend that can be small and easy to use for streaming from an iPhone when Airplay is not setup?
Thanks
Peter

Beolit 12 cannot be charged via USB, unfortunately. The USB port will only output power to connected devices.
Note that you can also connect an iPhone to the USB port. The device will be charged and it can also output audio over the USB cable to the speaker. It's not exactly what you're looking for, but it's a rock-solid alternative to AirPlay when out of Wi-Fi.

Edit: double reply, sorry about that.
Thanks for your quick reply Tuomas,
I was suspecting it wasnt possible to charge that way.Playing music through the USB connection when on the road is ok, although using a USB for streaming could be a nice alternative,
If only B&O could make a new Beolit in the same format and great sound, with Airplay 2, Bluetooth and possible to charge via USB, it would be a winner...
Cheers,
Peter:and also stream sound via Bluetooth,
Beolit 12 on iPhone hotspot. Didn't try it myself but someone did.

Do note that Beolit 17 offers most of this – it charges via USB-C, but it is exclusively a Bluetooth speaker and thus doesn't offer AirPlay support.
