Beoplay P2 volume control

I bought a secondhand P2 today. I am quite impressed by this little thing. Fits in my back pocket (hardly notice it is there), and has just enough sound for its purpose.

I enjoy the tap to pause and play, and the shake to skip song functions.

There is one thing that I am not sure about, and that is the volume control.

I found a review that claims that you can do a circular motion to adjust volume on the device, is this right? The user manual says nothing about this, and I can’t get it to work either.

Urban legend. The speaker only senses whether or not you're touching the grille, not any gestures.
