I’ve been looking into power filters. Companies like audioquest or furutech make hifi power cables and filters that, what they promise, will result in a ‘lower noise floor’ or a ‘more balanced sound’ or a ‘darker base and better placement of instruments’ etc.
I’m really wondering if anyone uses products like these for their beolabs. Especially if you use them with beolab 5’s I would love to hear your experience.
I have heard that glueing a photo of Einstein underneath your speakers should have more or less the same effect.Did I try it myself? No, I tried neither, but I can tell you that it's true.
In other words; It's nonsense - coming from people trying to get your money.
HiFi power cables? The same discussion over and over again about how the last two meters of cable from the power plant to your stereo can make a world of difference. No No No...Don't buy that.
