Beosound 9000: Does not play all CDs when in Random mode. Switches off after e.g 2-3 hours

Hello,

my Beosound 9000 doesn't seem to play all CDs when it's in random mode and switches off after 2-3 hours. Is this normal?
Maybe I'm not a math genius but I thought that 6 CDs should get you a little more than 6 hours of music before the Beosound shuts off. ;)
After sledge repair I'm having my baby sitting on a table only with headphones connected to see if "Mr. Sledge" behaves as he should or if he likes to touch every disc when moving.

In normal play mode it plays all 6 discs without any problem.
