Hi folks, I’ve got some old B&O gear that I’d like to offer to a good home – FOR FREE.
So, I intend to be listing IT on the site for interested takers. However, before I can do that I want to tighten the transit screws on the BEOGRAM 1100 but reversing the action for loosening them – as directed in the manual - does not seem to be possible without exerting excessive force. I want to avoid stressing anything.
Can anyone help me with this simple task, please?

Sure you are looking at the right screws? They don't come off completely, just losen them until they stop.

Hi Martin,
To answer your question - YES.
However, I went back to the machine and had another attempt at turning the large screws counter-clockwise even though I could feel - through a port near the foremost one - that there appeared to be loose components that I was afraid to lose.
I am happy to say that the end result was SUCCESS!
To answer you more clearly I had produced a jpeg showing an extract form the User Manual and the actual setup, but sadly, I can't see any way to attach it. So it doesn't look like I can realistically offer my gorgeous B&O gear on the site.
Regards,
Alan.
