I have a pair of 8000s that have had a B&O service center voltage conversion - 220 to 110.  They were shipped to me and wouldn't play a sound.  Both lights were orange.  Then I shipped them to a service center who " repaired them" then swore they were working.  Then they're mailed back to me and they're both totally dead.  Nothing.  No red light at all on either.  Nothing.  Totally dead.  Both dead in the same way.  What's going on?!?  All parties involved have been very professional, but I am getting frustrated.  Now they will need a trip back to the service center.  Any suggestions?  Is there anything I can do at home before shipping them out again.  I ordered these back in September and havent heard a single note of music from them yet. Now it'll be at least December before I even get them back.
