Hi everybody,
I run two AppleTV 4th. Gen. with B&O. One with a Horizon and one with a Beosystem 4 and a Beamer. Both setting have puc with "AppleTV 4th gen" installed. The Horizon is operated via a Beoremote one BT and the Beosystem 4 via a Beoremote one IR.
The normal control system works well. Play/Pause, Down, up, right, left, Menu ... everything fine. But I can't open the control center on the AppleTV. Is there a solution to this?
Best
Christof
I’m not sure what you mean by the control centre but if you mean the home screen with all the icons on it then hitting the green button should take you there (certainly on my beosystem 4 it does)
^ I think the 'Control Centre' is the screen that you get when you press and hold the Home button on the Siri remote. It's the one that is used for putting the ATV to sleep.
Oh, this seems like a good question! Without the Control Center, how would you turn off (I.e., put to sleep) the ATV? You’d just have to let it time itself out to sleep based on inactivity.
Is this why you’re asking, Chris?
Currently: BeoLab 17, BeoLab 18, BeoSound Core, Beosound Level, Beosound A1 2nd Gen, BeoPlay S8 Connection Hub, Halo, Essence Remote
Previously: BeoSound 1 non-GVA
I have another question..
Is it a way to control the volume on the Apple TV (I mean output volume) with the remote?
When I press "up/down" on the volume buttons, (on the Apple TV remote) it do not respons... All the other buttons are working.
The reason for the question is that I feel I must have the volum on my BO Avant at a higher level/number then before on the old Apple TV..

You probably need to read this thread: https://archivedforum2.beoworld.org/forums/p/34673/256188.aspx#256188
In short, if you have an old version Siri remote, without the white circle, you may be able to control the TV's volume directly by IR. You cannot adjust the level of the ATV's (digital hdmi) volume output.
But all course, all this is hijacking the thread and the OP's question ...

Thank you for the answer.. But what I mean is.. Is the volume in the Apple TV 4K standard set at the highest volume output, or can I in any way adjust this to a maximum..
The reason for the question is that I feel that the volume is lower with this Apple TV 4K, then my previous version 2.gen.. And therefor I need to set the volum at the Beovision at at high level (+/- 60) to really feel the power :)

You can't adjust the Apple TV's output volume, except a setting in the audio panel that will 'reduce loud sounds'.

Thank's..
I'm having the same issue. Did you ever get this figured out? Thanks
