Beocenter 2200 speed varies on vinyl

Hi all - I’ve trawled the forum here and can’t quite see if this has already been asked/answered...

I inherited my Grandfathers Beocenter 2200 when he passed away 10 years ago and it’s our daily player in the family room. Over the past 12 months it’s developed an intermittent speed variation when playing records. I have changed the belt and cartridge (via Martin and SoundSmith) but randomly it still speeds up. Any thoughts? I bought a spare unit for parts a few years back, just not sure where to start.
