Hi 

Has  any one got the phone number for a B&O engineer in my area  Wakefield Huddersfield

I used Lynear Technical Services in Chorley, Lancashire a couple of year's ago to repair a dead pair of Beolab 8000 speakers - that's about an hour's drive from you?

They were recommended to me by an ex-B&O employee, and I I found them to be reliable and quite reasonable price-wise.

The BL8000's are still working great anyway...

I don't know if he worked for Pratt's, I only know he worked for B&O in Sheffield. He installed all my B&O. He has been doing it a long time.
