Good review on YouTube

Great! I watch Andrew regularly. Shame B&O won’t send him review samples.
Good review though. Stage is great.

I was straight up shocked to hear that they don't give review units to professional Youtube channels like his.
That is unbelievably irresponsible marketing management!
Could be for a whole raft of reasons we don't know about.
In one way it adds to the credibility of the review somewhat.
Those 'I was supplied with a loan unit but this is completely unbiased' reviews never seem to have very much criticism but am I just being cynical?

From a consumers point of view, maybe.
But shouldn't the marketing department be more concerned with getting eyeballs on the products?
Buying thousands worth of equipment for the privilege of reviewing B&O probably isn't a good proposal to someone with a vast audience.
They are probably way more comfortable with print media, but I don't think that that is getting people in stores nowadays.
You may be right all I am saying is there may be reasons we don't know about.
Before I made a judgement on 'marketing' I would want to know:
Did they just say no to Andrew?
Is this a policy decision and if so why?
You are absolutely right, I am also uninformed about their media strategy and the reasons they have to withhold their products from video reviewers.
But for a long time I have been annoyed by the lack of "independent" video reviews of B&O products. The only exception might be Steve and B&O of Manchester and they are hardly independent (no critique! Much love and support to them)
So I guess they probably do not give sample units to anyone even if they ask, like Andrew Robinson.
Looking for B&O Products on Youtube, there are hardly any of high quality (exceptions above) and I for one see that as a drastic weakness in B&Os marketing.
I agree although Mikipedia and Hendrick do a great job with reviews. Whilst they may be regarded by some as 'fanboys', they certainly put their money where their mouth is which says a lot more to me than some 'independent reviewers.'
B&O have always been a bit quirky . . .

I wondered if it was policy not to support reviewers.
I'm with you - proud to be a fanboy but not shy to voice what I see as failings.
Keep up the good work :-)
Yep, such a shame B&O don't use some of these (better quality) reviewers.
Just watched the video, and it really was refreshing to see and excellent at the same time.
I don't expect B&O to go down this route at all, but its nevertheless a shame.
