Hello Beoworld,

I have a problem with my BeoLab 11 I just got recently. It sounds like air is moving but not the way it should. To me it sounds like both drivers of the BL11 are out of sync.

I uploaded an example at wetransfer. perhaps you could help what the problem could be.

Listened to the file and it certainly sounds wrong...

Have no other advice then letting a B&O technician have a look.

I am actually quite amazed that you managed to record such a bass signal from a BL11. Mine supliments my 11-46 and that is it's only role. I can "just" hear a difference. Now I am wondering if there is something wrong with mine? No way a bass note like that!!!!!

Have you played with the settings in BV11?

You can increase the level as well as change the crossover frequency.

Yes every part of it is set to max and it is still hardly audible. As a subwoofer it is pathetic. As an addition to the overall sound it has a value. I previously had a beolab 2. I would rate this at 1/10 of the output?

Damn that thing sounds busted.

BeoLab 18's. Beolab 3's. A8. A9. A2. H7.

I found the problem It seems like one of the drivers is damaged. When I hold the one driver and play music everything sounds smooth and perfect. I think I will repair it myself as a new driver is only 89€ from b&o.

BL11 cannot be compared with the 2/19/14 sub. It was not intended to be so, it was meant as add on for the BL4/6000/3 to have more bass detail. But in combination with a BV11 it should add to the experience noticeably. Did you set it up as a BL11 in the speaker connection? Also make sure the bass management profile is turned on otherwise the bass will not be redirected to the BL11

BV Harmony 65 / Eclipse 55 / BL 50 / 19 / 18 / BS 2 all brass

BV Horizon 48 / V1 40 / BL 17 / Beoplay S3 all black

V1 / BL 3 / BS Essence MKII / Beoplay A3 all white

BS Moment / BS 3000 / BS 3200 / BL 400 all silver

Headphones / bluetooth speakers / BLC NL-ML / BLGateway

I know…B&O virus has grown on me !
