Are folks here finding benefit from upgrading/changing their phono cables in their systems?  I've seen in other forums that this is a very hot topic.  I made my own upgraded cables (as mine were missing) for an Ortofon RS-212 arm for a Thorens TD-124.  It works fine, but I doubt I would have been able to tell the difference.

I only change connectors if the existing ones are corroded (or have a fault).

I also prefer leaving the B&O phono cables with their DIN plugs as I use a lot of B&O receiver/amplifiers.  In cases where I am connecting my Beogram turntables to non-B&O preamplifiers I use a DIN to RCA adapter. I have a couple of Beogram turntables that have RCA phono plugs. I cannot tell a difference between those and ones I use an adapter for.
