Hello beoworlders,
I have a BV Horizon with a pair of BL9 connected, and I'm scratching my head on how to perform the old "Speaker 3" that I used to know with other set-ups (BV7+BL9) : voice sound on TV speakers + effects on BL9.
Is that even possible on the Horizon? For now, I can only have sound from my TV or from BL9, but not this mixed solution.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Philippe
This is extremely easy. In the settings menu you will find Speaker Group. In that menu you can create any kind of speaker group you like in different combination. Try that.
The Horizon is - like all newer BV’s - much more advanced when it comes to sound settings.
Please look here for how to create Speaker Groups:

There is a tv - and there is a BV
The Horizon is - like all newer BV’s - much more advanced when it comes to sound setting than what you know from the BV7.
Please look here for how to create Speaker Groups (page 50):
P.S. If you have bought the Horizon pre-used (you probably have), be sure to delete all previous Speaker Groups - the Startup Group can be changed just like you want it or reset to default.
Note: if you create more groups, they can idividually be assigned to the sources of the tv e.g. one for tv listening and another for some music listening.
Thank you, I gave it a go once more time (I remember trying though before with no sucess) and you were right that was the way to do it.
Cheers,
