Hello Beoworlders,
One of my 1995 BL8000's power supply has blown.
According to my dealer, the part is no more available.
So I'm looking for a functional part if someone has one to sell.
As an alternative, can someone tell me if this block is rerpairable at the component level?
Kind regards,
Yann.

Yann,
The power supply in the Beolab 8000's are fairly basic and an electronics person certainly should be able to repair it unless the faulty component is something like one of the transformers.
It certainly should be investigated to establish which component has failed.
Regards Keith....
Standby transformers are no longer available anymore frim B&O.
I can provide new transformers with the right specifications for 220-230V networks.
Keith, Beobuddy,
Thanks for your answers.
I'll try to find a tech to check what part failed.
