Hello B&O community,

since today one of our Beolab 8000s hums when it is switched on

disgusting in "felt" 50 Hertz (network) frequency ...

I suspect the power supply capacitors, or am I lying

possibly completely wrong ...?

I have the service manual and I can handle the measuring device and soldering iron.

Thank you for constructive information

Greetings from Merlin

Hi,

It could be a faulty/damaged powerlink cable. It’s easy to check, just switch the cables to see if the problem remain on the same speaker.

OK, sorry it didn’t help. That’s where my knowledge ends, so I hope someone else can help you more.
