My bedroom system (New to me) consists of a BeoMaster / Beocord5000 and a battered CD50, all controlled by an MCP5000. Speakers are Bowers & Wilkins 607s.
Anyone know which laser mech the CD50 uses - It's on the way out...

Why do you think the laser is on its way out?These lasers are immensesly robust. It's always something else at fault - often the spindle motor and/or tracking assy.
