Hello everyone,

First of I will say that i'm new to turntables and this Beogram 1000 I just bought is my first turntable so please bear with me.

By the way, what a great forum you've got going in here, was so pleased to find it!

I got the following when I bought it secondhand:

  • 17 u pickup that seems damaged as the needle is bent and looks way different compared to the two others i got.
    • This pickup is however the only one that produces sound when attached but in poor quality
  • 17 u that seems fine but I can of cause not see the exact condition since I don't have a microscope.
    • When I attach this pickup the the arm immediately slides off the record to the outside side of the record.
  • 75 u for special records so I don't really need this as I primarily will be using the 17 u for normal records.

All pickups are original B&O pickups.

I've looked through the manual and tried to find a solution to the issue with the pickup that slides off the record, but without luck.

I've tried most adjustments on page 21 in the above PDF without luck, I do however not have a suiting flat screwdriver to preform the balance adjustment fully.

I'm looking for suggestion on how to get this Beogram to work properly, everything would be highly appreciated.

I was not able to attach video or pictures to this post but I can provide if needed.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Kind regards, Anders.
