Hello everybody,
I introduce myself: I’m Didork and I am a new owner in the B&O world since I bought my first Bang&Olufsen product, a Beoplay A9 MKIV (in December 2020).
I am playing music via 2 sources :
- Tidal via chromecast (using a iPhone 11 Pro Max)
- Rega planar 2 turntable with a rega mini Ad2 linked via the line in input.
We’re in March, so that’s already 3 months I am listening everyday my A9, and I’m still not 100% satisfied by the sound quality. Too much bass, not enough trebles...
I tried quite everything : changing the place of my speaker / turning On/Off the room compensation / playing with the Beosonic settings...
I know the acoustic configuration of my living room must have a big incidence on the sound, but I’m sure I can improve the sounds quality by playing with the trebles and bass levels.
So, just to have an idea, could you please share your settings in order to know if my settings are crazy or not...
For now, I set : +4 trebles and +1bass
Thanks very much, it will help me a lot.

mbolo01:FYI : Bass excess has been fixed in several products such as M5 and BS 1 with the latest software that has been deployed recently. Maybe the case for the A9 too if new software is available for it?

Thanks for your reply.Yes, I got the update about 1 month and a half ago.
I just want to know if you made some adjustments on the trebles and bass levels, and if yes, which levels for both?
