Hi Beoworlders,

I have the following problem for about the last 3 weeks. I think because of a automatic software update of my system:

first I switch on the TV, then I use the beoremote to switch it to my favorite position facing the fireplace. After a few hours if I want to change source from e.g. TV to YouTube or Netflix, the motorstand changes back to the start up position. This never happened before the software update.
And the strange thing is if I change the source shortly one after another nothing happens, the tv remains in “fireplace” position. It only seems to occur if you have been watching for a couple of hours on one source.

I tried to relay my problem to B&O support, but they just suggested I contact my dealer.
anyone else is experiencing this problem or have any suggestions?

Regards, Alje

Check which stand options you have set for the source in the menu. Also depending on how you change source it can change stand position, as in with a mybutton you can save stand position with speaker group and volume level and source all together.

Hi Mikipidia,

first all of all, thanks for replying! I did try your suggestion but it is not exactly what I mean. The problem seems to appear only after watching a couple of hours of television. So if turn on the TV, first I use the LIST button, select stand “fireplace” and if I change to Netflix immediately there is no problem. It happens only after a few hours.

in the menu settings all sources are set to start up stand, so just a neutral position. If I would change it there the TV would always start up in “fireplace” position. To be clear, I already have my eclipse for 2 years and this was never an issue before it self updated the software on the beoremote last month.

I think I just need to take my beoremote to the dealer to reset the software, although because of Covid this a bit of a hassle  so any help on this forum is more than welcome.

Regards, Alje

I doubt it’s the remote as the remote sync’s with the tv and takes over all the presets in the tv.

Are you saying that after a few hours of watching tv and changing source through the tv button up top changes the stabd setting? If so, does it change to a particular stand setting? Or is it random? You don’t use mybuttons to change source?
