Just taken delivery of the 4000c Recreated and it's beyond words.
Number 44/95
They said it'd be good, but I never imagined that it would be this good.
It's a work of art and everyone who doubted that it would work a sa concept is, I'm glad to say, wrong.
I'll pair it with a pair of Beolab 90's which I have on order.
Extraordinary and something to treasure.
Congratulations! Can you post pictures? I'm told to expect mine in May, and I can't wait!

Hi Ufc69, and congratulation for your new deck.
Would you please also post pictures of the papers delivered with the deck? (owner's guide, booklets etc…)
I'm curious to see if they have the moderne look or if the push the detail to reedit the original manuals!
Thank you and enjoy your music.
Congratulations !! Please share with us your experience once you connect the Beogram in this technological wonder called Beolab 90

finally got to open mine (#36) - I liked this detail
I've hooked up to BL90's and the sound + experience is superb.

"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
hehe
here's a few pics more:
Very nice, but the Soundsmith cartridge still doesn't fit the arm properly!
Does it have the heavy platter or the light one with the subplatter?
Not enough pictures, since you are the very first one to publish some real ones...
🙏🏽
Jacques
the 4000c platter is a bit thinner it seems...

OK - here you go :)
Though @mods - am I allowed to post photos like this...would I be breaking copyright etc? Feel free to delete if so.
It comes in this beautiful box:
With a 'Design Story' booklet
And a user guide
Signed by the man himself :)
And finally, a small guide around the treatment of wood
I've posted a bunch of photos, but it's set for approval by mods, not sure why :)

Thats why I can't see them. Lets wait then, and thanks anyway.
I've upped them here as well
Though, frankly, I am not sure I shure if I am breaking copyright laws by sharing them?
Ditlev,
A very warm thank you. Your deck looks very nice. Much nicer than it looks in the Orient Express shots and closer to what the website shows. Congratulations and hope that you will enjoy good music on it. Please share the first record you listen and how it was…
That said I am a bit disappointed by the design story book who looks like a pdf printed on a Xerox copier with white borders (and I believe it is). Also the typo in the "care" leaflet is unbelievable for an item like that. All in all I think the storytelling magic ends when you close your internet browser and is not passed through the deck delivery and packaging… Sad.
Anyway Thanks again Ditlev and feel free to correct me if my impressions are mistaken.
There is currently nothing to be moderated. And I cannot see you've uploaded any of the photos to the Beoworld server.
There shouldn't be any copyright issues, assuming the photos are yours.

And the "Design Story" has "Beogram 4002" printed on its frontpage...
Fantastic - thanks for posting these - it really is a design classic.
I think there was a similar paper published for the BM4400 - I wonder if that will be next but with a black front panel and updated with streaming, internet radio etc. etc or a BM1900/2400 - I doubt it though
Dillen: And the "Design Story" has "Beogram 4002" printed on its frontpage...
Indeed, but there, we can agree they're in line with their own "mistakes".
I mean the original guide is labelled "4002": Geoff Martin posted it here a while ago.and since the Beogram 4000c is based on the 4002, that guide make sense. It's just the recreated deck that for whatever reason doesn't have the right number.

Actually it's very thick paper, and feels exclusive...
It's a copy of the 1975 original design story included with the Beogram 4002, which is what my 4000c was during her teenage years :)

totally agree, that's just sloppy...

I know (even if not sure it was included with BG 4002, but rather distributed to "best clients" as the big bible was more recently).
:-)
(those ones are my own "recreated" copies but I believe a member of this forum has an original one, recto only, bigger, letter or maybe A4.)
Thanks for the new pictures!
The typo, mmm... yes that's odd.
As for the design itself, I still can't quite understand why they went for this version and not the original one with at least the big bearing and the heavy platter.
Is there a reason?
Beautiful all the same. But that Soundsmith cartridge, really... (by the way, that's also my cartridge and it doesn't fit properly 😂).
