Hey all,
I'm in the process of recapping the mainboard of an MX6000, which was going completely by-the-numbers until it wasn't. My soldering iron isn't what it was and I guess the temperature was higher than advertised, as - long story short - I sucked a solder pad clean off the PCB! As you can see, C134 is the culprit.
I'm not giving up on this, so what's the best way to repair this without causing more damage? The two options that spring to mind are a jumper wire between the leg of the cap and the nearest solder point - the pad on the left isn't great but provides a strong anchor and continuity - or an eyelet. How safe are jumper wires on a CRT mainboard?

I would probably just scrape the lacquer off the end of the offending PCB track, bend the leg of the cap on that and solder it. The next "bare" connection is a bit far away and goes between two unrelated solder pads, so that might be more risky for a jumper.
