Hey folks,

I recently purchased a Beomaster 5500 amp which was working great for the first few hours, however it seems to have developed an issue where it will turn of about 10 seconds after turning on. Whilst it is on it works fine at any volume and any input but then switches itself off. It will turn straight back on if you want it to but then again after about 10 seconds turns off.

Any ideas on what I should be checking first if I were to open it up? or any ideas what might be going on?

Appreciate any advice, thanks!

Bad idle current trimmers.
Replace them and adjust them to the correct setting.
Do one channel at a time, starting with the channel that has the highest idle current as-is.
Refer to the servicemanual for the correct method and setting.
