Looking for easiest way to share my Beolab 12-2 speakers between my Beosound 5/Beomaster 5 and Beosound 9000. Is there a switch that can do that or am I restricted to disconnecting the cables every time I want to switch?

I'd try to connect the Beolabs to your BS9000, connect BS5 (BM5) with Masterlink cable to BS9000.
Now set BS9000 to audiomaster - A.OPT1 - if no Beovision is involved) and set BS5 to NO AUDIOMASTER.
You will have five sources - CD, RADIO, A.AUX, N.RADIO, N.MUSIC.
Whatever source you select, it should activate the BL12 and play the correct source (depends on software in your BS9000)
