Hello everyone. Now that a fully modern system is finished, its time to get to work on new setup. I have a somewhat complicated set up question regarding mixing vintage and modern equipment. Here is the question:
I have a pair of MK II Pentas that I would like to connect to a BeoSystem 7000 for the Tape, CD, LP, and use the AUX port to connect to my computer for stored music and Internet radio. At the same time, I would like to use those Pentas with the Avant. I don't imagine that MasterLink and Master Control Link of the Avant, the BS3000, and the BeoSystem 7000 are compatible.
So the question comes down to (if I have all the connections right) can the Pentas be used with two independent B&O source units?
My research hasn't turned up any solid information if B&O makes a box that can split Power Link inputs but a company called Bosscom seems to make something that might work. I appreciate any help.
Hi BeoHound9000,
all you need is the good old BeoLink Converter.

There is a tv - and there is a BV
Most of these are compatible. I had an Avant, 7000 series, Pentas and a Beolink PC2 all working together in a system - works very well. You need a Beolink converter between the Avant and 7000 -
