Hi everyone,
As you certainly know cleaning the keyboard of a beogram 400x is often part of it's restoration.
I'm lucky enough to have a keyboard without mark so I wonder if there is a way to care it to keep like that.
Thanks.
Hi,
Having restored a few Beogram 4002/4004 keypads I believe the answer to your question is to avoid touching the keypad with bare fingers as the worst enemy to the coating is oil from human hands. When it comes to trying to clean existing oil from the keypad I would just use a soft cloth. Don't use anything abrasive.

Thank you Sonavor,
I tought to the Beogloves as a joke, it happens it may not be!
Ok, soft cloth only: put the record on the turntable, clean it, brush the stylus gently, press Start, wipe the keyboard. Listen.
