I have the possibility to sell my BeoGram 4004 TYPE 5526 from here in the USA to an interested party in the UK. I told him thsat there is a voltage switch on the bottom, however it is only marked with an arrow. Since this TYPE is the USA version, how do you know what position to turn it to for UK voltage?

USA varianten kan kun køre 120 V AC. Frekvensen 50 eller 60Hz er ligegyldigt ...

I didn't know that there was a voltage selection option on the unit. I bought a Beogram CD 6500 from America and had to put in a new power supply to run at 240v.

While what appears to be a switch is on the bottom, for the U.S. versions it does not do anything as there is only a single primary transformer. I would not recommend selling it internationally for 220/50Hz use.
