Is there a reliable, cost-effective way to replace the cartridge for this turntable?Thanks everyone!
What cartridge are you running? The Beogram 8000 was fited with the top of the range(at the time) MMC20CL.
There were 2 other cartridges in the MMC range- MMC20S and MMC20EN.
The 20EN was regarded as good as,if not better than the 20CL.
The 20CL has an eye -watering cost, whereas the 20EN is much more affordable.
If you don't want to try your luck on E-Bay, you could try Soundsmith,who sell B&O cartridges under licence.
