Hello,

I have some questions concerning changing the original harddisk from my Beosound 3200.

1. Can i replace this original harddisk to a ssd sata which will be connected at a ide 40 pins to sata converter and yes;

2. will there be enough space left to build this converter and ssd into my BS3200?

3. Is opening the BS3200 an easy operation?

4. Is there any document that shows/explain me how I can open the BS3200 to get acces to the harddisk?

I know I probably also have to clone the original IDE harddisk to the SSD drive.

I normaly use the Macrium software solution. I hope it is also suitable for the this action. Hopefully this software will recognize the original BS3200 harddisk.

I am very pleased and thankful with all your tips, information. If you have any questions about my plan, please do not hesitate to ask.

I thank you all for your kind help.🙏

Kind regards, vriendelijke groet, herzliche Grüsse,

Marcel
