Good afternoon all,

I have been searching for a Beomaster 7000 for my hifi setup. I found a AV7000 for sale locally for a good price but could not find many details online about it.

1. What is the difference between the two models?

2. I have a Beolink 7000, will it work for both?

3. I only plan to use this for music and not TV watching. Would it make a huge difference in which model I got?

Thank you all!

Hi, the AV7000 is a surround sound processor for the North American market. It can be used as an add on to a BeoSystem 6500 or 7000. It can be connected to a BeoMaster 7000 to control Powerlink front and rear speakers and has an amplifier output for a passive center channel speaker of your choice. It had some video source inputs and is composite capable only. It offers Dolby Pro Logic capability, not Dolby Digital or DTS, so it is limited. I would continue to look for the BeoMaster 7000 and leave the AV7000 behind.
