I need a replacement battery for my Serene B & O phone - can anyone help please?

Is it a unique battery or will another battery fit and can I open it with a small screwdriver since I have lost the one that came with the phone!

TIA

I believe the Serene is a Samsung SGH E910 under the covers, so my guess is most samsung batteries for that series of samsung phones will probably work.

I had a Serenata that uses a Samsung battery.

Good question!!

I tried to source a battery for my Serene last week and these are the results of my various attempts:

- there's not a single seller that can be found on google that is selling such a battery (worldwide!)

- neither on eBay, amazon, alibaba or any other site

- Samsung customer service says batteries for "old" phones are no longer produced but I should send an email to their service partner

- they said that there are no parts available (neither if you ask for "Serene" parts nor for SGH-E910)

- final attempt was the official Bang&Olufsen service center. They can order some batteries from Denmark for the special price of 38 Euro plus tax

So, if you want to use that phone there's no other choice than going to Bang&Olufsen and paying the premium, as long as the stock lasts!

Well if its any consolation, I tried to get a data cable for my Serenata, and only B&O could sell one to me ( 30 quid ) ...

It seems ( I could be wrong ) that Samsung aren't allowed to sell stuff related to B&O even though the phones are Samsung made.

A bargain compared to what this guy wants.
