Hi, Í am tempted to get the Beolab 20. I know they are eol but I have always liked them and I can get a used pair for a fair price. But i wonder if there is a Mozart version of the Core coming. Or maybe it doesn’t matter, I have not owned the Core but had the Essence and never really liked it. Can I connect a Tv to the Core?

If you had an Essence Mk1 i can understand that you didn’t like it; however if you had a Mk2 they are great, and the Core builds on that. So for the BL20 i think you would be right with a Core as it does Hi-Rez

Some people have written about the Mozart platform and in particular the BL28 that they are speakers with a built in Core and that’s what makes them Mozart. And no, i don’t know if there will be a Mozart Core, as i think the jury is still out on what constitutes the Mozart Platform.

If you love the BL20s and want to use them, I say go for the Core, you won’t be disappointed.
