So back in July, I got a fully functional Beovision MX 4000 CRT. It worked with absolutely no issues! The picture looked fantastic as retro games looked very nice and sharp, and the colors were great! It was then I had the bright idea to hook it up to a Yamaha WXA-50 amp so that I can use it as a pair of speakers for my wall-mounted TV in addition to using it as a TV for retro gaming.

But as I was playing a YouTube video that had a stereo test to make sure that each sound came out of the correct channel, I noticed smoke coming out of the back, possibly due to the bassy sound of the video. I didn't hear any popping, but I saw smoke. I immediately turned off the sound, and now it refuses to turn on. The standby light is still on, but it refuses to turn on. Which components are usually at fault when it comes to this if it were to happen on a TV like this? I did notice a tiny cap with what looks like a black thing on top. I'm unsure if it's a popped cap, but I did desolder it (but haven't removed it, as disassembling the whole TV is a bit of pain, and getting it out without disassembling it is a pain).

It's literally my third B&O CRT, and this time it stopped working because of a mistake I made. Oops. Hope that this can be an excuse so I can make my local audio equipment repairman fix the problem, as he usually doesn't accept TVs. But since this is a TV that can also act as a speaker, I hope he can.

But I'm going a bit off-topic, any ideas on what I can do to fix it?
