Hoping someone knows of  a Cpu  display board somewhere that i can buy  (PC 21) for the 7000.

I can not see it anywhere in parts available.

I did manage to rebuild  the  Beomaster 2400 thanks to Martin's capacitor  kit about 5 years ago but have limited  knowledge. No doubt overconfident, during one of the lockdowns in Australia, I finally attacked the Beocenter 7000  inherited . Sentimental value  for a complete system I'd like to pass onto the grand children..

Manged to correct the power problems but in the process shorted the display board.

At boot it seems to have the voltages but after an initial "P" display just lights the 'decimal point' display.

Any advice on where to go appreciated.

thanks,

Bill B.

Hi Martin,

Sorry I didn’t see your very

Dillen:

Do you have 5V on CPU pin 40?

Martin

prompt response.

Have double checked the figures and confirm the 5V supply is there at:

IC5 Pin40 & IC6 pin 40 (computer &expander) 5V

5v supply also ok to IC7 pin16 (program select)

5V at pin16 of IC1 (display) & IC2 pin16 (SN74247)

Outputs

Output from IC5 to IC7 (program select ) 4.9V to pins 13,14,15

Output from IC5 from pins 36,37,38 to switches via connector 31 at 0.18V

Output from IC6 to IC1 (display select) is for (pin 24 -2.7V,) (pin 25 is 1.8V )for (pin26 is 1.8V)

Output of IC1 (Display select) is 4.6V for pins 2,3,4,5.

Thanks for your response.
