Hello there,

I am so happy that I finally got my hands on one of my dream Bang and Olufsen pieces of kit. The Beocenter 8000 *dramatic sound effect noises*. Now one thing to solve. I bought it from the UK and I live in the US.

I was thinking of buying something like this to convert the power: https://www.amazon.com/Simran-AC-500-Voltage-Converter-Transformer/dp/B004MPR3XG/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=120v%2Bto%2B240v%2Bstep%2Bup%2Btransformer%2B300w&qid=1629078337&sr=8-3&th=1

However, before buying it, I wanted to see if anyone knows of a way that you can convert the unit (without buying a new power supply.)

Most of these Beocenters can be wired internally. Some even have a rotating switch.
Did you look inside?
Did you check the servicemanual?

Hey there Dillen. I haven't looked inside yet, however I haven't seen any mention in the manual/service manual.
