I've just re-foamed my new to me 8000's and plugged it all into my new to me Beomaster 4500. I may be suffering brain fade, but have a strange thing happening and can't quite understand it, so hoping you kind chaps can help.
I have green lights on both speakers when the 4500 is on and I have the left speaker switch on "left" and the right on "right" on the 8000's. Sound however only comes out of one channel, but when I switch the speaker position switches on the 8000's, the sound comes out of the other speaker and switches off on the one that was previously working.
That tells me the cables are fine I think, but not sure where else to start looking.
Thanks in advance !
Having put my specs on I realised that the bottom position switch isn’t R it’s for Line !All sorted now and sounding great.
Nothing better than just poor eyesight causing the issue so no big bill to be paid! And thank you for letting us know. Lots of people get somthing fixed and you never know!
Enjoy your speakers

Indeedy - always keen to post up fixes when I find them, irrespective of what it is.
Still a bit stuck on my Beogram 4000 set down point, which happens before the needle has even reached the platter. Found others have had the same problem, but no joy in a solution yet.
