BS4 door sensor not working

Hi. My father has a BS4 where the glass door no longer opens when you place a hand near the front.

The glass door does lift open manually and slides back down fairly gently rather than crashing back down.

The unit plays perfectly normally. Any one have any ideas?

I can’t see where the sensor actually is.
