Beovision 10-40 cannot scroll menu

Hello so today I picked up a used BEOVISON 10-40 with motorized stand. It turns on just fine and spins the stand. But it seems to ignore a lot of commands from my beo4 controller. I can access the menu but then I can’t scroll down. Have tried turning it on and of. Anyone have a suggestion, or can somone explain how to reset it. Thanks!

It sounds like it's set to work with a Beo4 Navi controller -- that is, a newer Beo4 that has the joystick in the middle or a BeoRemote One. You have a non-navi Beo4. If I remember correctly, you need to enter the number of the line in the menu to get to the menu setting where you can change the IR controller over to non-navi.
