I've got a Core in an integrated audio master setup with a BLC converter for a Beosystem3 with speakers in the living-room.
If music on the Core starts playing it triggers the BS3 to activate speakers appropriately as an audio master.
The one exception is if I Airplay from an apple device to the Core it will technically start "playing" but NOT trigger the speakers.
It distributes fine if the Core is already "on" and playing music.
Multiroom for Airplay is active and appears to be working otherwise.
Do you think this is a configuration problem or an actual limitation to utilizing Airplay?
This smells like a configuration issue to me (source not recognized by ML?) but I can't figure out what that might be and knowing Airplay is involved makes me a little suspicious.
