Beomaster 5000 one channel not working

I have a Beomaster 5000. I get sound from both channels via headphone socket but no sound from right speaker. Get a little crack of sound when I plug or unplug speaker. 
anyone any ideas?

Could be a mute relay problem - have a search of the forum and you will see similar.

One indication of this problem is that the speakers will work fine in the speaker 2 sockets, so you could try that.
