Hi all

I’m new to the site and joined because I have just bought an Overture and B&O 6000 speakers

There are two questions I’d like to address

1 is the CD doesn’t spin at all, just shows CD <> on the display

2 is there a way to use an iPhone to cast music to the unit via Bluetooth and if so  what do I need ?
could this be because one of the glass doors are missing?

any help would be appreciated

Is it really an Ourverture ? Does it hava a tape deck ? If it has a tape deck, the cd is the version that "never" fails, if it is a beosound or beocenter without tape deck, then the laser probably needs replacing/cleaning.

You can open the cd lid, and use isopropyl alcohol to carefully clean the laser with a cuetip, and wipe dry directly after with a clean and dry cuetip.

If it still does not work, its probably the laser.

it has nothing to do with the missing glass lid.

You can use any bluetooth dongle, and use the AUX DIN connector on the back, and then select AUX as source.
