New product announced!

But calm down, it's just a H9 with an (ugly) Cisco co-branding, a Webex integration and a beamforming microphon (which I hope will be available on the future products). 480€, available in 2022.

On the surface it sounds like a good product for a lot of work places

Yes, it is the BeoPlay Portal with the beamforming microphone and the virtual boom arm ...

So, what is the difference (apart from the extra logo)?

'....Cisco’s integrated meeting controls, Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation, and frictionless IT management capabilities'

Can't be the noice cancellation - but what are the other two features mentioned?

There is a tv - and there is a BV

I wonder if battery life will be much better than Portal, thanks to removal of the Xbox connection module which maybe allows for a bigger battery (this is unlikely though because it would have required them to have a specific battery only for this headset).

Also wondering what sound quality for music will be like...

A video with the B&O CEO about this collaboration - here:

Could someone explain to me what is the Cisco part of this - what is it that Cisco has contributed?

Maybe I am too dumb, but what are these ‘frictionless IT management capabilities'?

Probably some additional software making it completely compatible with their Webex collaboration tools
