Hi, I have a beosound9000 MkII where the power input plug has been torn out. The wires coming out of the unit are the same color and size and cannot be told apart. My question is whether it matters which side of the plug i solder the wires back onto ?
thank you in advance
"You think we can slap some oak on this thing?"
HI, it is not the cord it self that is broken. it is the plastic plug end that is built into the unit that tore out (and wires disconnected from it). i need to solder the wires back onto the power-in plug... click on picture
Hi,
No it doesn't matter
As far as I know it's a standard euro C8 socket like this:https://www.sweeta.com/iec-60320-c8-socket-inlets-c8-swhjc-033.html
You can get them on every electronics store. The servicemanual should state which kind of print socket it is (mounted on the circuit board or mounted inside the casing etc. ... different variants are availabe).
Thank you!
