Hi,

I recently bought a 7007 at auction, and following a replacement of the stylus it's been working very nicely.

However, this afternoon it started misbehaving a little when playing a record.

I press phono, turntable starts spinning, arm and needle drop but no sound and then it very quickly lifts and returns to the resting position and shuts down.

There doesn't seem to be an awful lot of different things to try. Has anyone seen this before?

Many Thanks

R

Update:

Working fine again this morning and evening which is a bit odd. I wonder if perhaps it's overheating somewhere? It doesn't seem to run particularly hot but will give it a good dust over the weekend and serif that helps.
