I have a beolab 3500 that I stopped using a while ago as I didn't rate the sound quality. I did actually have one years ago brand new and the sound quality on that one was excellent as I remember. Anyway, I swapped it out for beolink passive and a couple of S45-2s in my kitchen. I really like the look of the 3500 and it will take up less space so I'm keen to dig it out.
I've read that the beolab 8000 suffers from foam rot in the cabinet (or something similar) and I'm wondering if that is the case with the 3500 - before I look inside I'n wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.
Hi
Yes the BL3500 also suffers from interior foam rot. Definitely need to change it.
