The spring and cord on the Beomaster 5000 I'm working on are both wrong. The mechanism operates a small rotary damper and slows down the opening of the narrow control panel that flips down.
The spring is elongated and the threading appears to be wrong. Unfortunately the service manual does not show any details for the correct threading and position of the spring, so would anyone have a photo or diagram of the correct assembly of this?
